additional support
Kelsey and Katie are in office at Bitty Bites Pediatric Dentistry every week. We provide CFT (craniosacral fascial therapy) and lactation support to babies undergoing a frenectomy. We know that considering a frenectomy for your baby’s tongue/lip tie can be scary. We want to provide your baby with as much comfort prior to their release and provide you with confidence in aftercare instructions post release.
What is CFT?
Craniosacral Fascial Therapy (CFT) is based on the theory that Craniosacral and Fascial systems are not separate but one interconnected system. CFT blends two established modalities of Cranial Sacral Therapy and Myofascial Release Therapy along with dental techniques. CFT is a very gentle and natural modality that aids in facilitating healing by allowing the baby to drive the movement of their body in response to fascial tension.
THERAPEUTIC GOALS OF CFT
Our therapeutic goal is to mitigate the effects of any birth trauma that may have restricted the craniosacral fascial system. We believe that people do not have to suffer their whole lives because they had a difficult in utero/labor/delivery experience. Our mission is to restore optimal function to the craniosacral fascial system so that every baby can have a happier and healthier life.
