Hi! We are Lisa, Katie, Kelsey, and Hannah, a team of Registered Nurses and International Board-Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs). With extensive experience in supporting new and evolving postpartum families, we initially met as postpartum nurses at VCU Hospital, where our individual journeys toward becoming IBCLCs began.
Throughout our careers, we have worked in various hospitals both within and beyond Richmond, as well as in local pediatrician offices. These diverse settings have provided us with hands-on experience and a comprehensive understanding of lactation-related challenges. We have successfully assisted thousands of women in navigating their unique breastfeeding concerns and developing tailored feeding plans that meet their families' specific needs.

We want you to feel confident in your decision to provide any amount of breast milk to your baby because we know how hard it can be! We know feeding your baby is tailor-made for you — internet and blog searches are not going to provide you with one-on-one personalized care plans and compassionate feed back, so let us help!

Initial In-home consultation:
90-120 minute in-home consultation: $200.00
Includes:
-All care is provided in the comfort of your home
-Thorough assessment of breastfeeding including weighted feed
-Customized care plan to fit your feeding goals
-Access to secure messaging via HIPAA compliant patient portal with support up to 48 hours after consultation
follow up in-home consultation:
60-90 minute in-home consultation: $175.00
Includes:
-All care is provided in the comfort of your home
-Continued customized support with ongoing feeding difficulties
-Care plan adjustments if needed
-Access to secure messaging via HIPAA compliant patient portal with support up to 48 hours after consultation
prenatal in-home consultation:
60-90 minute in-home consultation: $175.00
Includes:
-All care is provided in the comfort of your home
-Thorough review of your medical history, previous pregnancies/ feeding experiences, & current goals
-One on one education to best prepare you for breastfeeding/ pumping/ bottle feeding
-Access to secure messaging via HIPAA compliant patient portal with support up to 48 hours after consultation
virtual consultations:
(For homes outside of a 30 mile radius from RVA)
90 minute virtual consultation: $120.00
60 minute virtual consultation: $100.00
additional:
Twin/ multiples: $300.00 (120 mins); $250.00 (90 mins)
Virtual, pumping only consult(30 minutes): $50.00
In-home, flange fitting only consult (30 minutes): $100.00
*For homes that outside 30+ miles for each individual consultant, an additional $30.00 fee will be added

Payments will be due at time of consultation and are out-of-pocket if your insurance is not in network with The Lactation Network or Wildflower. All major credit/debit cards are accepted as well as many HSA/FSA cards. A super-bill will be provided to you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement (determined by your individual insurance plan).
